Parkwood Estate, located on Simcoe Street North is a unique experience that captures the historic house of late R.S Mclaughlin who founded General Motors of Canada. The Robert McLaughlin Gallery or famously known as the RMG is a public art museum in the city of Oshawa. It is the largest gallery in the Durham region and displays some of the finest modern and contemporary art. The Gallery is free to visit and is located in Downtown Oshawa which can be very easily accessed by a car.
Their most famous attraction is that they feature a new artist every month and you can buy their artworks from the gift shop too.
