St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge is one of the oldest wildlife refuges in the United States. It was founded in 1931 as a place where migrant stories could spend the winter. It spreads over almost 70 thousand hectares. This place is especially attractive to volunteers. They come from all parts of the United States and are working on various projects and research.

There is a large visitor center here so tourists can find everything they need. There are brochures and various publications that will make your stay easier, so we recommend that this be your first stop.
