Affiliated to the Smithsonian, the Conner Prairie is a live museum that recreates historical community life in the 1820s. William Conner was a trader, politician and military person who had an estate in Fishers, then known as Mudsock. Admission to the museum is around 18 USD, with it remaining open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Flat Fork Creek Park

This free to visit park is a 60 acre forest that features long hiking paths for walking as well as biking. Each of these areas have a distinct feel to them. The first, the amphitheater is an open concert hall, the second area comprises of luxury apartments, restaurants, and shopping areas.

Fishers Renaissance Faire

There are walking trails, play areas for kids and picnic tables for you to spend your day with fun filled activities. One of the greatest parks in the city, the Cheeny Creek area is a wonderful local attraction. The Cheeny Creek Natural Area is located near Lantern Road at 11030 Fishers pointe Boulevard.

The last weekend of June is when the Fishers Freedom Festival happens. Parades, live music and entertainment, a cornhole tournament with food and drink and games make up the Freedom Festival. The festival is a celebration of patriotism and happens in anticipation of the 4th of July.

Strawberry Festival

Start your summer holiday in Fishers by attending the Strawberry festival. An awesome pick for kids, there are face painting event, clowns and balloons.

Find loads and loads of strawberry themed foods such as shortcake, chilled strawberries and more. The festival happens near the Fishers Town Complex on the first Saturday of June.

Gingerbread Village

The main attractions of this festival is everything made out of gingerbread. From a model of the Lucas Oil Stadium. This festival gives many schools, business and families the opportunity to bake the best gingerbread building as they compete with each other. Truly a lovely sight to watch.
